My first Chap Goh Meh

I'm sure many people heard of Chap Goh Meh

in case you dunno, it's the last day of the Chinese New Year celebration

and it's also the chinese Valentine's day

according to the version of chinese version of Once upon a time

young unmarried women will throw mandarin into the sea or river to find a good husband

guys suppose to get the mandarin

don't ask me how cause I'm curious bout that too

and me after 22 years never been to a chap goh meh festival

this year, I wanna find a good boyfriend too loh

so prepared two boxes of mandarin already

haha, no la~ just going for fun only

We prepare our own mandarin in case, the provided one kena habis rebut

write anything you want loh, sexy lady 016-XXXXXXXX

if you're that free to get all those call la

and jotting down all those numbers 

they are so desperately hardworking in finding the love of their life <3 wee~

all those tiny thing is human~ so it's a full house

all #foreveralone is gathered together

they have the old wishing tree like what we saw in those old era drama

where the girl pray n wish then throw the wishes on the tree

super funny cause some under the tree get attack by those terrible thrower 

alert when you're under one..haha

it's a fun way to spend your lonely chinese valentine day

try go for one if you're free

you might not know what you'll get

I'm moving in!! Macarron is my house-warming gift

I'm moving in~ not my boyfriend's house (I don't have one)

gonna have my intern soon like in 3 more days

so moving into kelana jaya area which sort of near my office

with few BAGS from ipoh, KL here I come again XD

but it turn out to be a KL tour (food and sight-seeing)

Kind of satisfied with my room

nice room with view (with noises too)

not bad huh??

at least there is a pretty sky for me

Let wish for wishing star to fly across my room everynight aka. Taiwanese drama mood

Did I forget about the food, NO!!

here it comes, beware cause it can make you crave for dessert like crazy!!

Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie

I guess you know from the name

french for Bakery & Pastry

I have heard of this shop for a long long time, so I'm jumping like a frog when I arrived *for real*

this suppose to be pretty and mouth-drooling but I'm feel simply take the photo cause I already can't wait to grab a plate and get some

Levain is so famous for their pastry so it's on the must-try-list!!

more bread!! feel like I can eat bread for the whole life

if Levain sponsor me la...

tiramisu, strawberry dessert, macha!! (we took the strawberry dessert)

ah-haa, the cute character from Spirited Away, Soot balls

they look alike, right?? hope they don't taste alike XD

soot balls and Yubaba's son (my top list anime)

not forget to mention that they have pasta, pizza and some main dishes too

this is tuna stir fried with linguine

tiny lil bit bland for my preference but they throw in the tuna like it's free~  yummy yummy

they have handmade fettuccine too like lamb ragu, wild mushroom and seafood but I'm not a big fan of fettuccine so you know...

and save the best for the last!!!

ta-daaa~ the dessert

Strawberry dessert, berries pastry and MACAROON 

I've been like craving macaroon for ages *teary eyes*

everything is nice and fresh, all the berries is fresh include all those blueberries and raspberry 

pastry is crunchy but not too flaky and you could still smell the butter inside

the dessert is even better, fresh strawberry jam on the bottom with some lovely sponge cake

and top with the freshest whipped cream I ever tasted before

you can still taste the milk inside it and it taste a bit like cream cheese

they cost RM3.90 (1-4 pieces), 3.60 (5-9), 3.30 (10- dunno how many)

I hope I remember the pieces accurately

(from left top to bottom) triple chocolate,raspberry, machiato and strawberry 

I tot the strawberry gonna be normal strawberry but the hidden whipped cream and fresh jam bring out the best part of strawberry^^

(right top to bottom) ghana dark chocolate, macha and almond praline

we bought 8, but fruit de la passion and mango gone in seconds

you know what fruit I like now

Collecting Ang Pow pack

Sometime not only the inside of the ang pow is important

the outside too

my family been teaching us not to open any ang pow until the 15th lunar calendar of CNY

(at least we can peek what inside)

so we also have the tradition of keeping the old ang pow pack too

sometime Eomma will go through those ang pow again and she'll found some money inside

I can confirm that I always do double-check with it but still.... haiz(Ma, actually I purposely want give you de XD)

HAPPY VALENTINE *muackks* 

Valentine - to celebrate or no?

This is always the tricky question 

which can made your life so miserable (miserable = in hell)

not matter you're single, in a relationship or hitched

single : keep saying no one want them, hiding in room on valentine day, posting #foreveralone and bla...bla...bla..., sound like it's the end of the world

in a relationship: want to prepare what?? erm, what surprise??? this expensive.. that expensive... restaurant fully booked..arggghh~ *pulling hair*

hitched: still need celebrate ah?? every year also celebrate, dunno what to plan loh... one rose is RM10 leh!!! better save some money~ and those who have a baby?? even better!!! no need plan~ no time ma...

well, these situation didn't happen to everyone, just most of us only (and I know you're one of them)

FYI: I believe some of your girlfriend must have said something like this : " Dear, please don't waste money on flower and celebration on Valentine, ok?" 

YES!!!

they did, right? BUT if you're going to do nothing, please prepare to face the "silent killer". Your girl will stop talking to you but keep pretending nothing happen (well, I'll do the same thing)

well, you can't blame them~ It's normal for girls to be emotional and rational on the same time. they're born with it~

we doesn't want you to waste money but we couldn't believe you're not putting any effort in creating something special

So my advice here is: You doesn't have to spent a lot of $$ to make her happy on Valentine, you just have spent some effort like~

1. You can write a love letter, if can add some poems. use some fancy paper, spray them with your cologne or perfume so it can remind her about you when she open the letter and write down what your feeling after being together for this period of time. (trust me, girl love it when you write something personal to them)
2. COOK !!!. which ever guys who can cook will melt a girl heart!! It doesn't mean you need to be a perfect cook. You just need to learn something simple and arrange it with some cute heart shape design

Nah, I'm sure you can cook hotdog loh~ *remember, it's all about the effort*

   

   3. SMS~ the easiest and you can be very creative in these. you can send a message to her on every hour with something special not the typical " Dear, what are doing now??". Try something more creative like "8.30 am, this moment I wish to be awake by your side and have breakfast together for every single morning / 9.30 am, this moment both of us might be busy with our job but I want you to know that I'll always support you no matter what are you facing". this not only tell her that you remember her every moment but you cherish every moment you're with her. One of my friend's bf is creative enough to use her most idolised singer song name to compose a love sms to her. But make sure she is not the busy type, if not anyone also will go crazy with so many sms.

This is same for girls too, you can make something special for your boyfriend too. It's not the guys responsibilities for planning Valentine Day. Maybe, you can be the one who buy him flower #trollface~ hahaha

but it's really a must to celebrate Valentine on Valentine Day??? for me, NO~ 

you can celebrate it everyday if you want, no need to let those businessman getting richer because you celebrate on that day

 but it's important to put in some efforts for Valentine Days?? YES~

girl, doesn't need flower, or ring to be happy but she definitely need you to put in effort and make every single day even more special

and Congrat to #foreveralone, you just need to hide in your room and see all those lovey-dovey picture in facebook. I'll be joining you on that day

The New Religion?? -> K-popnism

Recently I browse through something as KOPINISM religion

lazy ppl didn't really read, juz skim through
so I came up with something with K-popnism religion
could it be really in our society right now??
 browse through FB

5 out of 10 videos is about k-pop XD...so?? you know right~

I believe there is many "normal" people like me

who like K-pop so much,

where we dream about those hot bodies, pretty faces, great voices and powerful dance these dreams and activities include :

• calling them your hubby, darling, my boyfriend, or watever cheesy name that you can think (guys also same de)

# My hubby~ Yang Yang

• pasting their poster in your room like it's some kinda free wallpaper (same thing with their laptop / desktop wallpaper, screensaver some more and!!! please don't forget about the phone )

# my own wallpaper on netbook

• stalking their action, news or gossip all over twitter, allkpop, facebook group, blog and watever media that you can click in and understand the language
• playing every single korean that you know, it's even on radio nowadays + ringtone + grabbing the remote from karaoke room and choosing korean where there is no romanization (speak about devotion)
• last but not least, downloaded every single version of their music video, performance video and some even their parody ( not forgetting the dance practice, we just can't miss a small step )

above is the most common practices that we "normal" people will do

Honestly to say, I stand in between of normal and abnormal

I'm not the over-crazily type nor #@#%#@ k-pop type but I can really see most people around me is taking this new religion seriously like everything is just about korean artist. Even celebrities from western foreign country that would notice the news from korea Park Ji Min noticed by Ashton Kutcher. We have to thank to the global internet connection too

but don't you feel surprise that a big star like him notice about a programme in Korea which I don't even think he understand 'annyeong haseyo". Asia "roar" ^^

And I do believe there is one or two friends who would criticize you for goin crazy for k-pop like:

1, You really understand what they sing meh?? Korean wo..
2, You sure they got that pretty (handsome) anot? sure all plastic surgery one...

3, cheh, where got so geng de, can dance n sing so well?? Lip-synch de loh

these questions sure pop up~ congratz you again if you don't have. If you do, I'm sure you strangled them adi..cause I did!!!!  (haha, joking~ please don't do it!!!)

To me, it's still their option to like it or not. But please don't come and criticize me when I share their video on facebook or their status. It's my page not your right?? Unfriend button is on the page top right if you dunno. 

So what do you think of the new religion? (merely my idea, not really sthg real)

 could it really be sthg good?? or bad??

or it's just a trend where it would end in 10 years or maybe 5 more years?
