Life as the Coffee-maker

This is what normally people will say when you're having your intern

making coffee and move prepare to move your table into the photocopy room

where you photocopy documents like paper is free

Luckily I don't get a coffee lover boss and he prefer using email

so I didn't get the chance to do both

and I get to explore more management departments thoroughly 

Some of my friend keep on asking me what I do for my company,

what is my company doing??

So first of all I work here, Global Clothing Sdn Bhd

and we have two brands under us for now

Peacocks London 

available at Bangsar Village, Empire Gallery, Subang Parade

I don't blame you if you dunno the brand, cause UKM ppl won't really go to these malls.

Adams Kids, apparel for kids

if you tell me you know this, I'm freaking out now..

cause do you secretly shop for your kids UKM ppls??

Ans what I really do in the office is:

ALMOST EVERYTHING IN MANAGEMENT~

That what international business student study about, everything!!

HR- gotta track the offday and annual leave, updating the filling system

Merchandising- help in ordering the new clothes fr UK

Operation- keying in the new item in the system

Marketing- research for the new brand, updates for company profile

My Table

Gotta sort out all the price tag for new items

Double check with the order list

Helping out at the store

transferring stocks, picture look nice but my hands ache after moving clothes for the whole day

so no matter how hard a job is, it's depends on you to see the wonder and happiness behind the every single job

hehe, getting the first hand on the new brand samples

observing the quality and the price

Best part is wearing pretty clothes to work

  

no formal clothes sound cool but every morning you'll get headache 

thinking of what to wear *scratching head*

So the job may sound glamorous to work in a fashion company

but we do work like any other company in other industry

I do not get free clothes nor meeting hot models

but I enjoy my job as something I passionate about

and never blame the company for it bad but review back the choices that you make because you want a higher pay or easier process

Maybe I'll get to go for a fashion show??

Probably we call this lie last time

but now I think it's just merely speaking without an emotion

some even worse, it's just typing without an emotion

They could be so romantic and lovely while they utter those flowery words

they doesn't need to pay for it.

There is tonnes of thing to talk too and you just start of with that

furthermore with the technology nowadays,

sms and email, I know that you can write everything that you want

but please be responsible with what you're writing cause I'm a hardworking reader

where I scan through every word and comma

so be fair to yourself and other people when you write

you could just stolen their heart without noticing it~

We managed to plan one for my besties

Yee Loo the Birthday Girl

She is a tiramisu fanatic lover

The famous in town would be from Alexis or Suchan

so we get one piece for her from Suchan

It started with Nicky who sneakily buy the cake

A really different version of tiramisu which normally have lots of cream

but this has a tasty cake based with lots of nuts and chocolate

*thumbs up*

After we arrive The Curve, we bring her to the first secret location- the flee market

and we force her to get herself a TATTOO on her b'day

That why people say peer-influence could be bad sometime

But as the super good student of UKM

this is actually a temporary tattoo *don't scold us aunty, uncle*

While she crazily go for shopping for accessories,

(there are like tonnes of accessories store there, cheap and nice^^)

we sneak out to bring the cake to Bubba Gump

That the second secret location

This famous chain-seafood restaurant is inspired by a 1994 film " Forrest Gump" star by Tom Hanks

Tom Hanks wore this when he run across the country XD

whenever u show this plat, the waiter won't even look at you cause you ask them to run~

Whenever you wanna get the waiter attention, flip to this~ Stop!!

Bourbon street catch of the day, the mash potato is superb and the best thing here is the sauce

Rib and Chicken, I don't like the BBQ sauce

too sweet for me~

Shrimper's Net Catch

The prawn is fresh and the taste is so good~ Cajun Spice is yummy

but Garlic also not bad. I wish that is a magic pot where you can get unlimited Bubba prawn

In case you are curious why we're so stingy and buy one piece of tiramisu

this is the reason why!!

we're waiting for this chocolate cookies in pan!!!

warm cookie, with cold ice-cream and whipped cream

super yummy, it's like eating cookie dough ice-cream

And the best surprise for the b'day girl is!!

she was invited to stand on the chair to give a speech with a tomato bottle

and sing a song with it too

The moment you feel you'll leave this world

call me stupid, call me silly

Have you ever have the moment that you think you'll die??

blame on watching too much movies especially Final Destination

But the feeling seem to be so real and run like a real movie in your mind

Last Friday, I have decided to go back home

and my beloved ETS has gone out of tickets!!!

ok, then head to Pudu for bus tickets

and you guess it right!!! Bus also out of tickets~

then suddenly I saw a bus to Ipoh at 11pm *angel light, bling bling*

But is the cunning uncle selling the tickets trust-able? 

I bet he took marketing class before, keep on saying how good the bus, VIP bus, n bla bla bla~

in that desperate situation, the ticket is already on my hand

so from 8pm wait till 11pm

like the typical bus story, they are late~

so waited till 11.45, finally they bring us walk out of the Pudu station to get on the bus

like a herd of sheep, we rush to the bus 

and jump around with jolly face

But something is wrong, there was no air-con and IT'S NOT MOVING

I couldn't be this bad luck right?? 

Yes, I did~ probably because I haven't bath (just finish work leh)

So what I can do is just wait.....

Ta-daa, 1am then finally the bus engine started

okay!!! now at least I can arrive at 3am

just feeling happy for 3 minutes

then the uncle told us, air-con rosak

 I just want to smash the window to pieces and scream for help

*take a deeeeeeppp breath*

at least the bus move right, so be grateful for that

after the hectic n tired day, I fall asleep.. zzZZZz..

The suddenly "BANG", actually the uncle is closing the window for air on top of the bus

cause it's raining

1. The heading the you always see on the newspaper, "Bus from KL, drive in the rain, run into the valley"

the worst part is not raining

it's the bus dun have HEADLIGHT!! this mean they are driving in the dark, crazy man~

then there is the moment where I feel I'm not gonna survive that night, *pictures of appearing in the newspaper's frontpage*

I may sound so exaggerating it a bit too much, but it feel so real till my heart is stop beating familiar
*shivering*


 2. 2nd heading will be " Bus stop on the roadside of the highway and run by another bus/ lorry"
so after praying to all god n goddess in multiple languages, I thought I could arrive Ipoh soon
but then the last 15 minutes to reach Ipoh
the engine died while we're going up the hill, so even more freaking scary
with no air, shaky bus and car speeding up the hill
I couldn't stand staying in the and have to jump down from the driver door
standing on  the dark highway with the unfriendly driver who try to flag down some buses to help us,
I call my mum steadily:
Me: Ah ma, maybe you can come fetch me at the highway, very near Ipoh only
Ah ma: near is where??
Me: Erm, Middle of highway loh..haha *frantically looking for signboard*


Half an hour later...
feeling that I could see the sunrise soon
a car stop nearby the bus and fetching a girl who I chatted with since before the bus come
without a second thought, I asked "Are they fetching you??"
She said: YES!!! Come, let me fetch you back to Ipoh too!!

Even though the driver look a lil bit gangster-ish and they drive like F1 driver
I don't care anymore, I just wanna get away the f******* bus as soon as possible


That the end of my long grandmother story~
and I really want to thank to the girl who fetch me and another girl back
even she is a malay, she didn't left me there and choose to fetch someone else
I do believe kindness and humanity doesn't differ between races and countries
Thank for being my real angel of the night


Sorry to Eomma and Appa too...
sorry to make you two worried about me for the whole night
I might not be the perfect daughter or the most diligent daughter in the world
but the love from both of you make me realise that 
"I am one of your precious daughter"
 (still got my sis la, later she'll jealous)


This 6 hours of nightmare is a lesson for me
"To live my life to the fullest" 
and 
"Appreciate everyone around me"
and thank for letting me to stay for another day^^

Lovely Vietnamese Food at Ipoh

Just in case you're running out of idea of what to eat in Ipoh

it's not a new restaurant, I think it been there for awhile

look left n right for the big green sign board!!!

and we went on saturday dinner time, so it's super gila full

the green juice at the back is mint juice, simply refreshing and nice

(make sure you like mint only order it)

"Vietnam coffee"

there is a waiter who is damn cute, that he explain how to eat this, how to make it and speak in multi-language

even though he is really busy but he will patiencely 

they have fish, chicken n pork for the rice roll filling^^

the beef satay is tasty but I wish it is more tender

but we ordered another coz Appa super like it

My first Chap Goh Meh

I'm sure many people heard of Chap Goh Meh

in case you dunno, it's the last day of the Chinese New Year celebration

and it's also the chinese Valentine's day

according to the version of chinese version of Once upon a time

young unmarried women will throw mandarin into the sea or river to find a good husband

guys suppose to get the mandarin

don't ask me how cause I'm curious bout that too

and me after 22 years never been to a chap goh meh festival

this year, I wanna find a good boyfriend too loh

so prepared two boxes of mandarin already

haha, no la~ just going for fun only

We prepare our own mandarin in case, the provided one kena habis rebut

and jotting down all those numbers 

they are so desperately hardworking in finding the love of their life <3 wee~

they have the old wishing tree like what we saw in those old era drama

where the girl pray n wish then throw the wishes on the tree

super funny cause some under the tree get attack by those terrible thrower

it's a fun way to spend your lonely chinese valentine day

I'm moving in!! Macarron is my house-warming gift

I'm moving in~ not my boyfriend's house (I don't have one)

gonna have my intern soon like in 3 more days

so moving into kelana jaya area which sort of near my office

with few BAGS from ipoh, KL here I come again XD

but it turn out to be a KL tour (food and sight-seeing)

Kind of satisfied with my room

nice room with view (with noises too)

not bad huh??

at least there is a pretty sky for me

Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie

I guess you know from the name

french for Bakery & Pastry

I have heard of this shop for a long long time, so I'm jumping like a frog when I arrived *for real*

this suppose to be pretty and mouth-drooling but I'm feel simply take the photo cause I already can't wait to grab a plate and get some

Levain is so famous for their pastry so it's on the must-try-list!!

more bread!! feel like I can eat bread for the whole life

tiramisu, strawberry dessert, macha!! (we took the strawberry dessert)

ah-haa, the cute character from Spirited Away, Soot balls

they look alike, right?? hope they don't taste alike XD

soot balls and Yubaba's son (my top list anime)

not forget to mention that they have pasta, pizza and some main dishes too

this is tuna stir fried with linguine

tiny lil bit bland for my preference but they throw in the tuna like it's free~  yummy yummy

they have handmade fettuccine too like lamb ragu, wild mushroom and seafood but I'm not a big fan of fettuccine so you know...

and save the best for the last!!!

ta-daaa~ the dessert

Strawberry dessert, berries pastry and MACAROON 

I've been like craving macaroon for ages *teary eyes*

everything is nice and fresh, all the berries is fresh include all those blueberries and raspberry 

pastry is crunchy but not too flaky and you could still smell the butter inside

the dessert is even better, fresh strawberry jam on the bottom with some lovely sponge cake

and top with the freshest whipped cream I ever tasted before

you can still taste the milk inside it and it taste a bit like cream cheese

they cost RM3.90 (1-4 pieces), 3.60 (5-9), 3.30 (10- dunno how many)

I hope I remember the pieces accurately

(from left top to bottom) triple chocolate,raspberry, machiato and strawberry 

I tot the strawberry gonna be normal strawberry but the hidden whipped cream and fresh jam bring out the best part of strawberry^^

(right top to bottom) ghana dark chocolate, macha and almond praline

we bought 8, but fruit de la passion and mango gone in seconds

you know what fruit I like now
