Actually I mean Seoul Garden at Ipoh, Jaya Jusco

Ipoh finally catching up with more infamous food franchise that KL people will say

"Ooh, that one"

and I have not try Seoul Garden at KL before

Book table for 7, service so far so good

We have X'mas exchange after so many years graduating

There are more guys than gals, that was really something that would make you scratch head (hard)

What can you buy for guys??

Book = kill me before they kill me

Gadgets = should buy for myself first

Innerwear = yayaya, funny..

I just have to cross out many many ideas

My advise, draw the person you should prepare the gifts first

Back to our food session
basically it is just like normal BBQ steamboat + a plate of kimchi
Kimchi soup taste like chili powdered soup (can't even taste kimchi even we ask for extra spicy kimchi)


Food is so and so, lots of marinated meat, vege and fried snacks
Extra charge has to be paid for the drinks (3 choices only, green tea or mango and some hot drinks)
Don't really feel worth the money but it is a good gathering place for you to eat non-stop
want to go? choose weekdays which is cheaper
and no need order drinks cause you still can eat the ice-kacang and ice-cream
ice melted = ice drinks

Lovely Vietnamese Food at Ipoh

Just in case you're running out of idea of what to eat in Ipoh

Visit Vnam Kitchen at greenhill (opposite Excelsior Ipoh, along Overseas Restaurant)!!

it's not a new restaurant, I think it been there for awhile

look left n right for the big green sign board!!!

and we went on saturday dinner time, so it's super gila full

steam pork rice~ it may look simple 

but I tell you, the sauce n the combination of everything could make you add more rice!!

the green juice at the back is mint juice, simply refreshing and nice

(make sure you like mint only order it)

you can't said that you been to a vietnamese restaurant without the famous 

"Vietnam coffee"

there is a waiter who is damn cute, that he explain how to eat this, how to make it and speak in multi-language

even though he is really busy but he will patiencely 

they have fish, chicken n pork for the rice roll filling^^

the beef satay is tasty but I wish it is more tender

but we ordered another coz Appa super like it

My India 'FOOD' Journey continue

Still in the Deepavali mood~ *muruku, curry still in mind*

so we decided to go for more Indian food <3

Forcing  Influencing someone to eat North Indian Food with me *hurray*

Pakeeza North India Cuisine in Ipoh~
I have noticed this newly furnished Indian restaurant 

which later only I knew that it been there for a long time, just went through some renovation only *phail*

the renovation really did some 'mojo'

no place for you to walk around and take picture loh

warm and classy ambience *thumb ups*

Food pictha time

Mr. Fake Ken want some naan so we aim for the naan

Naan Khima with mutton and Kashmiri Naan, some vege curry for the naan

well, kinda dissapointed with the sauce cause we're expecting some mint sauce thingie which is always super nice but they only give us some plain vege curry which is kinda too thick

and the kashmiri naan is kinda different from Motormouth from Ipoh blog post

ours version is more to Almond naan~

the Naan Khima is nice, fluffy but is kinda thick too

but trust me it's so filling that both of us are waving white flag~

Buttered Boneless Chicken

ok, they recycled the Tandoori chicken in this~

I like to recycle but not in this kinda dishes, as you all know the tandoori chicken is kinda dry from those grilling and burning, then want to cook somemore

the sauce is nice just the chicken part, hem..

Mango Lassi and Carrot juice

I LIKE the mango lassi so much *mango lover*

the fun part is, they keep on playing Hindi songs and mv for you

(once a Hindi fans, I can sing Kuch Kuch Hota Hai de leh)

so you can enjoy ur meal with Salman Khan, Hritik Roslan and Aamir Khan and more

though some of the food is just ok, but it's worth to pay it another visit

Next, the Seafood Soup, no shark-fin~ 

we're so environment-friendly..hoho

but the fish maw smell oily~ no good

commercial break: bad front camera but at least there is no more half-face crap any more

According to Appa, this is a long lost recipe where it's so hard to find a good chef who can cook again

when this duck arrive, Appa seem to be so excited just like a kid

It's the 8 Treasure Duck, there are a lots of ingredients inside its' tummy

then dessert~ actually I skip a few dishes, too busy to chat then forget to take pitcha

hehe, at least the favourite part is here

those black truffles actually is red bean paste in some-kind of jelly texture stuff

it's GOOD and nice, those sesame balls is not bad either

Things that contribute to my Double Chin

I always believe that "Ipoh have many leng lui @ pretty girls"

though I'm one of the exception...

But I can't imagine how they gonna keep they body shape so freaking good while 

living in IPOH!!!

We have so so so many foods in Ipoh

which can make you feel hungry any time and anywhere 

This is from one small western cafe at Gunung Rapat which have some simple and cheap western food

Left: Chicken Chop with rice (the sauce is so special, where both of us can't identify the main ingredients in it)

and most important it come in a big portion with Ice Lemon Tea and ice-cream.

Right: Chicken Chop with Garlic Mushroom (RECOMMENDED this for all those garlic lover, tender chicken with lots of fried garlic, Organisms), this come with the drinks n dessert too

Each set cost not more than RM 15

Super Duper large picture for my favourite Korean Food^^

We ordered some pork and beef for the BBQ part~ I love Daorae Korean BBQ so much because they will do the hard work for us and grilled all the meat while we just need EAT!!

*lazy bum-bum*

Next we have the Heamooi-tang which is the Seafood Spicy Soup in the first lower picture in the left, acceptable spiciness with tonnes of seafood like Mussels, Crab, Prawn, Squid and La-la (charge us RM80 de leh, sure many seafood la, haha~ )

In the last picture is the Daeji Gal-Bi, some sort of ramen which those #Foreverhungryman ordered. It has seafood inside too, the soup is good and the ramen is so so yummy where it taste like some man-made noodles

For 4 person we spend Rm199.10 where Rm 18.10 is the service charge, no wonder they help you grill food la..now you know ToT

Still in the Korean fever, my next day lunch is the Kimchi hot stone rice which kinda so n so only...nothing much to comment, hope they can add more meat *carnivore mood

Next pitcha, the Bubble Milk Tea trend is coming back with a healthier version and much more crazy varieties. ChatTime is having their first outlet in Greentown, which is opposite Moven Peak steakhouse. 

Offer period is buy one free one (the free one got 2 flavours to choice, the normal Milk Tea and Passion Fruit QQ) haiyo, dun so tamak la~ free one is like that de loh

I tried the Green Tea Matcha with Red Bean with free Milk Tea

and Mango QQ with free Passion Fruit

I know, I know, from so many crazy varieties and I choose this two..Hey, I'm sure you'll go @@ when you see their menu. *dizzy*  

And lastly my favourite food when I'm small, KAYA-BALL

one of the best delicacies that can make you go hungry when you smell it from far

Eomma and Appa used to buy this for Unnie and me when we shop at Super Kinta

You can only get the best kaya-ball from there but so Sorry, Super Kinta already closed down for many many year la..hehe, Don't Jealous loh~

so that is SOME  of the food that make me fat, double chin, cellulite and whatever la

but I still like them so much

You can get this cute little thingie from Strawberry Moment at De Garden, Ipoh for RM 29.90 (inclusive tax RM 31.40)

This is the Strawberry Strudel, they even have blueberry flavour *red or blue, your choice

They will make this right immediately you order, just wait for 15 minutes then your warm and pretty strudel will be ready^^

TASTE: Warm and crunchy pastry with lots of whipped cream and custard cream, not to forget lots of SRAWBERRY too. The pastry goes super well with the cream, not too creamy and overly sweet. Perfectly balanced with the hint of sour and sweet from the strawberry. I think there are around 20 sthg strawberry in the strudel *too tasty and forget to count*. One box of strawberry already RM10, so kinda worth the money. Even Appa who doesn't like pastry that much, go for a second round

CONCLUSION: Worth the money, Tasty, and special. Sometime it's kinda bored with the normal cake, so there a new twist for b'day celebration. They even provide the b'day wishes card and plastic cake accessories for the strudel. Got candles too^^
