Gonna continue with my second post on korean street food

This is to share my bad experience on korean food

definitely not all korean restaurant provide AWESOME food

This round of korean food is at Dubu-Dubu, Mid Valley

and the experience is terribly bad

I tried their jigae cause they have some cute recipe to enjoy the jigae

and they offer few level of spiciness 

in case you're the mild lil lady

as for me the wild type, I took the top spicy level jigae

they also have chicken and beef broth if some of you doesn't take beef

plus point for them

Service side

lots of customers and service was slow, so you can imagine how slow the foods are served

Time for some food show

I like the purple rice as it look much more appetizing 

(Ko Hyang Korean Country Delights has the same rice too, gonna review that next time)

The jigae come with the purple rice and 3 side dishes

Big bean sprouts, kim chi and french bean (depends on that day varieties)

Their kim chi is not bad too, kinda like it

Look at my happy unhappy face

the first sip I drink that jigae,

feel like drinking plain water ah! no saltiness, no spicyness and nothing

I ordered beef top level spicy jigae and it was so so disappointing.

I don't know it is because of many customers or I'm unlucky

or the chef just forgot to add salt?

the whole food journey, I have to ask for soy sauce and dip everything in soy sauce

it became soy sauce jigae

Oh, before I forget

even the aloe drinks I ordered also taste so bland

forget the sugar maybe??

Kitchen Goddess

Kitchen is one of my favourite place in the house 

except for the bed

Trying to be creative in your food and drinks really need some brain genes 

and who will be smarter than the Japanese who will invent "toys" food for you to play around 

Doughnuts, sushi, bento and more

But honestly it's more expensive than one normal meal

Ta-daa, I'm gonna make sushi today
Got egg sushi, salmon sushi and ebiko sushi too

gotta bring a plate to start making sushi

Open, open, open..hahaha, so happy dunno why

The recipe and cooking utensils needed: the white plastic, test tube stuff and packets of ingredients

but all these are provided so dun need to buy your own

Kinda fast forward with process

Actually mixing it is super easy

add the amount of water to that white level (it is white so you can't see la)

Then add the powder and mixing, the rice just cook like that

like boom -> done XD

okay, this is the best part

where you gonna give birth to thousand fishy eggs

mix mix mix ~

Suck...with the sucker

erm, I don't what you call that. The white sucking thing

Then drop drop drop, like a fishy laying egg

puut.. puut..puut~

Now we make the seaweed layer

which is super sticky and hard to spread out

then wrap it around the rice like the sushi you always eat

Now cut the salmon

I dunno how RRcherrypie make it look so nice and smooth

you can see mine is here n there, not smooth. Mine is a fat salmon maybe

Now the eggs, scoop it out from the water

then put it on the rice

hehe, looking ugly there

I know *palmface

Being greedy is not, should be happy with the egg you have

red is salmon, yellow is egg

you can't eat sushi without soy sauce

Drop, drop, drop~

Ta-dah~ my hard work sushi is done

look not bad right

hei!!! I really mean it look ok

and we tried the taste too, it's kinda horrible even though it taste like gummy

only the ebiko (fish egg) is nice

it's my fault that I laugh at Xiasue when she make hers

reality is, this thing is not easy to make or maybe I got too panic and excited

anyway it's not easy to do la

My Birthday Celebration (I)

Being 22nd 18th is Forever Young

I do celebrate 18th birthday, just it was the fifth year I'm celebrating it

thought it gonna be a simple celebration 

but thank to my new lovely housemate, I got a super blasted birthday celebration

TGIF even though it was Thursday

Old friend from secondary school

and also junior from secondary school

can't even imagine that Ipoh is so small, or the problem lies in KL

Don't worry, I'm not drunk

Our food arrive before we turn into giant zombies

Steak, shrimp pasta, grilled chicken, salmon (I think so la), and cajun fried chicken salad

super big portion but super tasty

obviously I feel old next to them...

simple chicken and shrimp fettucine

but I think TGIF is a very close partner of Ajinomoto

I have to wake up in the middle of the night to drink water

Super thirsty

then have to hold bladder whole night cause too lazy too wake up..hoho

My melted birthday cake T_T

but free one la, so cannot complaint 

be gratitude^^

High Tea Lady

Thank to the creation of voucher selling website

we get to try more food and new places

and use more money too

So today we have a role play of a demure lady going for high tea

You can see all the efforts the owner put in this lovely place

every details are decorated in floral deco

even the menu #princess.mood on!!

 read like a lady XD

even the cupboard also full with deco

they have those victorian set doll inside it. 

I never like those doll. Thank to a korean horror movie

the basic english tea set; tart, scones, sandwiches and butter cake

see the little fork!! showered with lots of flowers

Gramophone!!! see the wire at the back, I guesses it still could play

They have a lots of tea collections with different names like Isabelle and Eliza

I forget all the descriptions because they really have a lots of tea

Situated in the Hartamas Shopping Centre

really kinda shocking to see it some where in the middle of an unknown mall

not to forget the free ice-cream

I think they're from Baskin Robin

I choose Rum and Raisin, YT choose Cookie and Cream

end with the pretty friend of mine^^
